The RFSA Foundation Student Exhibition 2025

Supporting Creative Ambition in Greater London

In summer 2025, the RFSA Foundation supported its first student exhibition — a celebration of creativity and the different paths students are exploring.

The exhibition brought together student work from across several of our partner institutions in Greater London. Featuring drawing, painting, ceramics, stained glass and sculpture, it reflected the breadth of practices and ideas on show.

It gave students a chance to share their work publicly, some for the first time, and created a space where the public, other students and trustees could see that support in practice.

From the Curator

I would like to thank the staff at the Royal Female School of Arts, Brompton Chapel, and all of the artists involved for the smooth running and impressive turnout for the inaugural Emerging Voices exhibition — and it has been a privilege to work with the RFSA as a charitable organisation supporting the arts!

This support made itself most clear during the application stage, wherein an abundance of strong applications demonstrated the range and level of beneficiaries of the RFSA.

The creative freedom throughout this project has allowed for a very fulfilling role as curator. The organisation of modern works through a medievalist lens worked well with the panoptic interior of Brompton Chapel, and allowed for an
insightful network of communication through the material to develop — notably, the connection with many of the tactile works and emotional processing.

The artists included in this exhibition have all been a wonder to work with, and all of their unique perspectives and styles have made for a truly engaging work environment.

My personal highlights through the process have been talking with the artists one to one about their works, inspirations and processes. I look forward, therefore, to following the progression of the artists exhibited as they develop professionally, and similarly anticipating the following exhibitions organised by the RFSA.

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful art exhibition held on Saturday and Sunday. It was truly inspiring and beautifully organised, showcasing a wide range of creative and thought-provoking works.

I’m very happy and honoured that my work was selected among the featured pieces. Being part of such a meaningful event was a great experience for me.

Thank you once again for your efforts in supporting the arts and providing this valuable platform for artists.
